Very happy with it as I love to cook but have never had sharp knives. I decided to try this stone and I'm not a pro yet, but the knives I've sharpened so far are much better. It is actually very interesting to learn how to use this stone. I look forward to trying it out on my scissors and perfecting my craft. I love the quality of this stone and would recommend it to family and friends. I didn't know it was a small family business but I was very impressed when I received a 'handwritten' thank you card. They told me that if I have any questions about a product, I can always contact them. This is real customer service and recognition and it needs to be brought back to America! If I need products in the future and Gourmet Tool has what I need I will definitely use them again.
