After you plug in the curling iron, you need to hold the center button for a few seconds before it starts. It's easy to set the desired temperature. Be sure to follow the recommended temperature settings according to hair type, which are indicated in the instructions for use. Overall, for the price and the result of tight curls, this is a good buy.
