I've been using Sandisk for many years and after buying a new Canon 5D Mark II with 21MB files I needed more storage space than my current 4GB one Cards will fit so I started buying this 8GB card which will give me around 300 images (depending on ISO etc). I'll be announcing a few more and probably a 16GB card. I had some issues with Lexars a few years ago and switched to Sandisk and the only card I had an issue with was due to my own mistake of forgetting to turn off the camera when I inserted the card, resulting in a short circuit. Outside. I've been very happy with the many Sandisk CF cards I've had over the years and they still work perfectly. I also recommend the Sandisk Firewire CF card reader - it's much faster than USB 2.0 card readers :) Sandisk Extreme FireWire Reader
