Great Punch Board

Preliminary note: If you're buying this board and aren't crafting yet, be aware that there are a few more things you need before you begin. You will need a paper cutter (you must pre-cut all paper to the square/rectangular dimensions shown on the board before you can create your designs), cardstock (medium weight)/paper and craft supplies. Adhesive tape to be able to use this product really easily. You can of course use regular scissors, a ruler, plain paper and glue/tape, but it will take you longer to complete your projects and plain paper isn't a very strong box. Projects 1-3 times before you get comfortable, but I assure you, once you've done it, all you need is a board for measurements; Batting and scoring become second nature. Instructions are on the board itself and in the accompanying booklet. You can also watch videos on YT if you're more of a visual learner. Ease of use: I would say the envelopes were very basic. The bows are basic but require more die cutting and measuring to make. The box looks a bit complicated and you'll probably ruin your first one, but like everything else, it'll be easy. The required dimensions are given directly on the board. All instructions are color coded to match the colors on the board itself. Accuracy: Some measurements differ, but not much. It does not bother me. 1/8 here or there, I hardly notice and I doubt my recipients will even notice, but if you definitely have OCD, be careful. Square envelopes also have tiny open spaces at the bottom corners after you fold/glue them even tightly. Again, this doesn't bother me, but it might be a problem for you. (For all projects shown, except grid and lettering, I used a Heidi Swapp [medium weight] double-sided paper notepad, P/N HS312004, purchased at a craft store.)
