Bought this product when our other kettle broke and couldn't find a replacement for the Revain. This kettle is fine. There's nothing special about that. The main problem with this kettle is the lid. Pros: Heats water quickly Inexpensive Cons: There is a grid attached to the lid that often moves and gets in the way. Make sure the lid is closed tightly. A family member was burned by hot steam escaping from a poorly closed lid. - The lid cannot be opened very far, a maximum of 30 degrees. To pour water, you have to tilt the device on its side. If you need something fast, this is a good option, but far from amazing.
