The power cord does not fit through the small opening provided. So the base is not stable, it sways, which is very dangerous. Luckily the kettle fits the old base from the previous kettle I'm replacing. So I would leave out the kettle. Otherwise I would have returned

I bought this kettle because of its "quiet boiling" claim. Our kitchen/dining room and living room are open plan and our previous kettle was very noisy! This one is definitely quieter, cooks fast and looks good. Can't say anything about durability yet, but it seems to be of good quality. I really liked it - and I like the blue light!

I wish I had a smaller kettle to use for a cup of coffee, but it serves the purpose. I love that I can put it in the stand and turn it on and it will turn off when it's done. One thing I don't like is that the hole on the bottom that the cord goes through isn't aligned, so I have to be careful when heating water for coffee.

My first experience wasn't the best as there was a short circuit or something else that caused my breaker to blow all the time. I shared my problem with them and Wilbur took care of it by sending me another kettle that works great. Worth the money and the blue light looks great on the closet. I will buy from this company again if everyone likes Wilbur!

Got my chinya kettle two days ago. I followed the cleaning instructions and was amazed during the first two boils how quickly it can boil 1.7 liters of water. A little less than 5 minutes. And that's enough for 3-4 cups of tea. What surprised me the most was the built in filter which is attached to the lid which means after boiling I could just put the tea bags in the bottle and go without worrying about the tea bags breaking. in water.

It's great. It's quiet and fast, boils water, does everything it's supposed to. It also has a very elegant blue light to show it's on. Some other reviews mention an internal level gauge that measures one, two, or three cups. I've found this to be extremely helpful when making a cup of tea while looking into the kettle as you fill it with water, and it shows you exactly when to stop and saves you from wasting water and electricity who cook more than you may need.

Oh my god I'm so happy I bought this. It is very easy to use and cooks quickly! I can just fill it up and go. Also, it's super cool that it's a transparent kettle so you can see it starting to boil with all the bubbles, it's pretty cute! It also turns off automatically when it's done, the blue light during cooking is pretty cool too, and it turns off when cooking is done. I would say it took about 5 minutes to boil, give or take a few minutes depending on the temperature of the water you poured
