My first attempt at upgrading my old pickup (04 Ranger) has so far been very successful and easy. Compared to the brand that Wal-Mart sells, this product contains no plastic. It's a very solid and reliable construction that feels 'real' compared to the original replacement. The product says that if the bulbs don't light up immediately, unplug them and rotate 180 degrees, after that they should light up. In a way I was unlucky as I had to do that with both bulbs on the first try but the second try was all it took to get them to work and they are now brighter than my original high beam headlights. lol. Now when I get information from the authorities, they can either read my numbers more easily or they become blind to the reflection after the usual cleaning at work (laughs again). Final note: They are made in China (I didn't catch the coronavirus); But compared to OE parts made in Taiwan, I don't think it makes much difference other than design and material.
