When I first connected it to the Pi and followed all the instructions from the Raspiaudio website it didn't work. I then contacted the seller and got an immediate reply to check a few things and it turned out that the problem was my Raspian image, after I recreated the SD card it worked like a charm. The only real issue I had was that the pins used when removing the mic from the board were right where the heatsink was on the Pi. I just cut off the rib on the radiator that was getting in the way and the problem was solved.
