I ordered these to try out for my "green" wedding. Me, my fiancé and friends tested them and they passed the test! They don't look like other paper straws and they don't get soggy, soggy, or crumble in your mouth (yuck!). I drank TWO LaCroix through a straw and it lasted. Only towards the end of the last Lacroix (about 4 hours in a humid environment) did it start to get a little soggy and lose its shape. They are also perfect for cocktail glasses and also fit in a glass. simply good.
