I play Roku with it on my HP monitor. I bought a 27 inch monitor which turned out to be too big to use as a monitor so I decided to use it as a TV but this monitor has no audio output. I used this to use VGA for Roku and use audio to connect to a soundbar with a subwoofer. This decision turned out to be better than buying a TV as I was able to get excellent picture quality with great sound (most budget TVs have poor built in audio). PS: Do not buy a plug without an external power supply to connect your Roku to your monitor as these products will heat up your Roku stick and you will end up wasting your money.
