My wife wrote: This dress had potential when I received it. The style, color and pattern are beautiful. I like the ruffles at the bottom of the skirt and the length is good. My problems start with the amount of fabric between the straps on the front. You can see the problem this is causing in my "before sewing" photo. It looked terrible. I don't know if all dresses are like this or if I got a bad one, but in any case I had to do a bit of hemming to straighten and straighten the fabric, as you can see in my "after sewing" photo can. It's looking a lot better now. I have another problem - fabric. It's 100% polyester and has terrible static electricity. You can see the dress stuck to me in my photos. The tag says to hand wash but it worked great on the gentle cycle and I hung it to dry. I'm 5ft, 125lbs, 32D-34C, petite and curvy and a medium size fits me. I am giving this dress 4 stars because I can solve part of the problem with a needle and thread. Someone who doesn't sew might not be so generous.
