I have had edema (in my right leg mostly) for a very long time. Many tests but no medical explanation. Anyway, I bought a pair of these years ago after looking for something that would look more like my skin because I would have to wear them with shorts or capris in the summer heat. I have had the hardest time finding them again but with a good hour of researching I found them. I received them yesterday and they are the best option for what I was looking for. I am on the paler side and bought the lightest color with the open toe. They are true sheer compared to the Ancient Mummy style of other support stockings. They fit well and no maybe they are not ideal but they are sooo much better than some of the other options. Since they are more sheer they are going to get runs or holes if you accidentally jam your fingernail through the stocking or yank them up. I would recommend rolling or cinching them up onto your leg.
