Not Comfortable . . . .

This is my first pair of compression socks. I have some of the problems they are suppose to help, although no swelling. The socks weren't hard at all to get on or off, but they were uncomfortable after a short while. Thus, 3 stars for a neutral rating, since I couldn't wear them for very long, and don't know enough about compression socks to judge them.

Pros
  • Surgical Appliance Industries (Accelerator Program)
Cons
  • The sizing may be confusing or difficult to measure accurately

Compression socks that are lightweight

NuVein brand compression socks are made in the USA. Non gender specific, works great for men or women.NuVein support stockings and compression hosiery use therapeutic graduated compression to restore blood flow and circulation. Designed to hospital grade standards for practical everyday wear. NuVein relieves common vein conditions associated with age, lifestyle, or even just sitting or standing for long periods of time.I’m a retired teacher who wore compression hose that last few years I…

Pros
  • They fit good, and feel good wearing them for work all day, but hard to get on.
Cons
  • The stockings may be too tight or too loose for some wearers

Pretty good - my new review

These work fairly well for my daughter (young adult with RA, works on her feet), but she finds that they tend to roll down.

Pros
  • Aids in preventing varicose veins and blood clots
Cons
  • The compression level may cause bruising or marks on the skin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Effective, but of course difficult to get on.

These are actually very good, but unfortunately not for me. I just can't get them above the calf bump without spending 30 mins or so working them up, smoothing wrinkles, keeping them straight. Not any fault of the sock, just more related to my having grip issues and the natural difficulty any compression item comes with. When I kept at it, they were comfortable and effective. Soft to the touch, though synthetic like (to be expected).Don't forget to use the Smile.Ebay.com address - It's an Ebay…

Pros
  • Machine washable for easy care and maintenance
Cons
  • The material may not be soft to the touch

Great for travel in my review

These are good quality compression socks with wide cuffs and smooth seams for comfort. They make a noticeable difference on long flights or any time it is necessary to sit for long periods of time. They are thin enough to wear under regular socks and can be used as a liner sock to prevent blisters. The socks are long enough to fit almost anyone below the knee. Be sure to actually measure the ankle and calf to find the correct size, preferably in the evening rather than in the morning.

Pros
  • I love them they help my legs feel so much better I've even fallen a sleep with them on
Cons
  • The beige color may not be suitable for all skin tones

Comfortable and do the job

These are surprisingly comfortable to wear and they absolutely do the job. They were comfortable enough to be worn all day on the job and didn't fall down. These aren't as tight as other compression socks but then they are only rated for 15-20mm as opposed to 30mm ones you can get. If you're used to the tighter 30mm compression these might not feel as supportive.

Pros
  • Stockings
Cons
  • The compression level may cause circulation problems in some individuals

Impressed with the compress!

I have been more attentive to my tired legs, and have been trying different compression socks to try and ease some regular daily and flight discomfort. This NuVein is in my top 3 for support socks. The black fabric almost looks like regular panty hose stockings, but once I get them on they are very opaque. They aren't suffocatingly tight, but still feel great when wearing. I have to work to get them on, but they go up high enough that once on they are wearable all day. I don't get a huge indent…

Pros
  • Better than any I’ve used
Cons
  • The seams may be uncomfortable or cause irritation

Perfect fit, durable.

Excellent product, durable, hand washes (ordinary Ivory bar soap) easily in cold water and air dries quickly in the shade. If you wash these in a laundry machine, or if you use laundry detergents, or if you dry them in a dryer or in the direct sun, you might as well go ahead and throw them away.If you use the Jobst 110913 Stocking Donner tool, these stockings slide onto your feet and lower leg very quickly. When I alternate moisturizing my legs and the top of my feet with Ammonium Lactate and/or

Pros
  • This has been my go-to compression sock for several years.
Cons
  • The closed toe design may be uncomfortable for some

High Quality on my review.

Fit a little long. My measurements men are on the border between L and XL. But they feel good. The wide -band top is very comfortable and may be deal maker.

Pros
  • good product
Cons
  • The beige color may show dirt or stains easily

They do what they're supposed to do

These compression stockings work well for me; my legs don't ache after standing and walking around for most of the day. They have that medical look, but aren't quite as awful-looking as the ones my grandmothers wore. After two washings they seem fine, though possibly not quite as supportive as they were when new.So if you can deal with the look, these are good support stockings.

Pros
  • 🙂
Cons
  • The color beige was unnatural and the stockings were not very sheer. . I won’t buy this brand again .

great for traveling.

I bought these because I was told I needed them, since I was taking a plane flight of 14 hours, and my ankles would swell without them. They were a bit difficult to get on, but I expected that. They weren't too bad, so I didn't mind. I guess they worked, because my legs and ankles didn't swell, and I had no bad experiences with such a long flight. Even if they didn't really help, they didn't hurt, and it would be worth wearing them to be safe.

Pros
  • 85% nylon, 15% spandex
Cons
  • The stockings may not be sold in all locations or online retailers

Very comfortable - my new review

I use the NuVein compression socks for swelling of the leg calves and pain. Although they are the same guage of 15-20 of another manufacturer's product, they do not have the same compression ability.

Pros
  • like the comfort of the socks and ease of placement.
Cons
  • The packaging may not be environmentally friendly

Great compression socks.

If you need compression socks, this is a pretty decent set to get - size fit is just right and they're comfortable to wear.

Pros
  • These are light weight, fits well, XL size stretches nice in fitting large calf.
Cons
  • On the small side

Great Value- Good Performance

Pros
  • Thes stocking feel great on they. They masage your legs they really keep the swelling down.
Cons
  • The large size may not fit all body types

This material that does the job

I bought two types of support hose for my vericose veins. Both have worked well. These are thinner and more comfortable in the warm weather. I have reactions to any latex based products. I have had no skin problems witheither pair.

Pros
  • Made in the USA; Latex-Free; Constructed with nylon and spandex for long lasting value and durability: Measure according to size chart image
Cons
  • The compression level may not be adjustable

These compression stockings are good quality and I believe they will hold up with repeated wearing and washing. The toes and heels will keep them from wearing through. My mother is 80 and recently had hip surgery and her doctor recommended she wear these a few times a week. The support is probably medium level and she finds them comfortable. I hand wash them for her and hang them to dry. So far we are pleased with the performance.

Pros
  • Awesome support
Cons
  • The stockings may not be comfortable for all-day wear

Well made solid black compression socks

These are good quality compression socks.I'm a nurse and not only do I recommend compression socks to my patients, but I also wear them myself. Every single shift.Compression socks keep my legs energized for twelve hour shifts. I won't work without them.Anyone with ankle or lower extremity swelling needs to wear compression socks from morning when they first get up, and take them off when you go to bed. Don't forget to elevate your feet and legs several times throughout the day. These socks are…

Pros
  • NOT THE BEST COMPRESSION SOCKS I HAVE EVER HAD, BUT THEY WILL WORK FOR ME AT THIS TIME.
Cons
  • Way too tight. Quality was nice but just wat too tight.
