You must agree with my assessment.
They look great but they need time to recover. My legs hurt the first few times I wore them. In addition, they are much more comfortable to wear with thick wool socks. They also passed the water resistance test. I intentionally stepped in big puddles and never got wet feet. I think they are good boots.
