Installed on a 2002 GM 350 Small Block. Judging by the video, it starts now and doesn't struggle when the old starter was about to die. Installation takes about 20 minutes compared to about an hour to remove the old launcher. A few comments.1. It's much smaller than the old starter. Rest assured that if you choose a starter with the same bolt pattern, it will fit. I noticed that there is a small gap between the flywheel cover and where the new starter motor now sits. OK. Time will tell how it will turn out. 2. The new (longer) inner bolt closest to the oil pan is a 13mm bolt head! Hallelujah! The 9/16 bolt that took you an hour to remove should take about 10 minutes to put back on. Life is much easier! 3. Use washers. Don't doubt. Just do it. 4. The starter looks like it has been painted with epoxy. I don't know if this really qualifies as "sea quality" but time will tell. So far, so good. For the price I hope it lasts longer than advertised. I will update when the day comes that he dies inside me. I am considering buying a spare tire in case of a "just in case" situation. If this review still doesn't update, I'm happy anyway! Enjoy!
