Review on ๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ Precision Parking Made Easy with Maxsa 37312 Park Right Dual Laser Guide - Silver by Alejandro Wolf

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like that this sensor has motion detection.

Parking sensor came quickly. The plate used to attach it to my garage ceiling (plasterboard) only required 3 screws and the sensor is so light it didn't need an anchor. I plugged the power adapter into one of the exposed outlets and used the spot where the garage door opener connects to power. Aligning the laser was the hardest part, but the entire installation took about 15 minutes. I like that this sensor has motion detection, so it's not on all the time. The red laser light is also clearly visible during the day when I drive into the garage. The power cord was long enough to reach an outlet on my ceiling. Its length is at least 6 or 8 feet. The sensor can also run off a 9 volt battery for backup power, but I chose not to use that as my garage door wouldn't open to allow my car to drive in during a power outage. The only problem is that when I received the goods, the contacts on the power supply were bent. I was able to bend them back with needle nose pliers and the adapter works fine. This is a good product. So far no complaints or issues other than bent pins which I was able to easily fix.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say
