I like that this sensor has motion detection.

Parking sensor came quickly. The plate used to attach it to my garage ceiling (plasterboard) only required 3 screws and the sensor is so light it didn't need an anchor. I plugged the power adapter into one of the exposed outlets and used the spot where the garage door opener connects to power. Aligning the laser was the hardest part, but the entire installation took about 15 minutes. I like that this sensor has motion detection, so it's not on all the time. Cons

Nice little gadget.

As advertised, dual laser parking aid, no LED. Came new, in original packaging. Installation instructions in several languages. The first power-on-bench test was successful. Both lasers are bright. Installation is easy. The kit includes double-sided tape and three 1" screws. Tape is not recommended for overhead installation according to the instructions. Attach the base plate to the unit on the ceiling in the desired location, attach the laser module and plug the power cord into the same outlet

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Empty

Ordered this for our workshop to replace a hanging tennis ball. It got to work, I opened it up and put the batteries in and it worked great, the lights and lasers turned on with the slightest movement and turned off after about 30 seconds of no movement. But when I installed it at home and plugged in the included power cord it didn't turn off, we installed a camera in the garage so I could check from my phone that the laser and LED were still on and they were , 10 minutes later also no movement

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Trade in available

Here's how we'll park our flying cars in the future

This is a great product that cleverly solves an annoying problem. For years I kept stepping back a few inches before crashing the front of my Grand Prix onto the concrete steps in front of my garage. I don't plan on hanging exercise equipment from the ceiling, and the flashing stop sign I got at the flea market broke after knocking it over and over again. The appeal of this laser pointer was that it was more accurate and less intrusive than other devices (a traffic light icon on the wall is…

Pros
  • Outstanding overall performance
Cons
  • Out of style
