Washers are built into my black tank and I use them.

My black tank has washers that I use regularly. But every 6 months to a year I use this product. Before use I use a cleaner, drain and rinse the tank until it runs clear. Then use this product to further clean the tank and produce it. There must be a coating that is not washed off by built-in sprayers and not washed off by detergents. Again, I don't stick my head in to look, but there's actually a lot of stuff left behind by other cleaning methods.
