We bought this because my husband and I love coffee every morning but we wanted something better Cold brew coffee is less acidic and less bitter! We found that we can have 2 pitchers; the one that is "cooked” (because it takes 24 hours to cook) and the one that we drink. We have another jar (the same size) and a wide-mouth plastic lid. We brew with the filter in it and once we take the filter out we use the lid to pour. It works great! And the filter is ridiculously easy to clean! Much easier to clean than our French Press! Highly recommended!
