I only bought this because I could afford the price and it serves it's purpose. I've mainly used this for potatoes and the little black dress is HOT. The first time I used it I accidentally cut my nail and it ripped off half of it. I had to wait 1-2 weeks for my nail to grow back so I could comfortably use my vulnerable finger. He didn't cut me, he just stripped the top layers of my nail off to the point where it would have hurried if it had been pulled on my flesh. USE WITH CARE. Now I use these scissors with kitchen gloves (because I'm a clumsy guy) and they work great! Sometimes when slicing a tiny golden/white potato, the skin may seem stuck to the metal part and you will need to remove it before proceeding, but this is not strictly necessary or inconvenient. This cleaning machine gets the job done at a great price. Be careful, and if you're a dunce, use kitchen gloves.
