Review on Energup Li-Ion Replacement Battery Pack For Black Decker Versapak VP Series With 2-Port Charger by Anil Jaimes

Picked up a drill that needed two of these and found out B&D no longer sold this type of battery. I’ve had one in my screwdriver for years and still going strong, never needed a new one. Initially these worked but I ended up using in my screwdriver more as backup. Most of the time I tried to just keep all three batteries charged. One of these stopped working earlier this year after just a few uses. Tried both of my chargers and it is dead. Now I tried the second one a few months later without having used it, and it’s dead too. I maybe used both 2-3 times over the year having them. The original B&D battery is still going strong and must be 10 years old by now! It’s a work horse! If you need these for a short term project, they work. But don’t hope for much beyond a few months.
