It's safe to say it cleans very well. The fact that it's electric really changes everything and makes mopping that much easier. It is a great idea to design a bathtub to clean the mop when you change the water. I really don't like regular mops that just smudge the dirt and look dry. It's not one of those cases, you can use plenty of water and since it's easier to wipe it's easier to get a cleaner stream. However, I don't use a sweeping pad, so I can't comment on that. I personally didn't like it out of the box and just chose not to use it. Besides, it's just great.
