This is a cute set of boys. The container it comes in is strong enough to store the game. It is very compact - the container is a circle 3 inches in diameter and about 2.75 inches high. The pieces are metal - so be very careful not to let them all fall back into the container when you're done playing, as they're a bit dangerous if someone accidentally falls on one. The nests are painted in silver and gold. The game has 2 inflatable balls of different colors; one is larger than the other for large hands. The sockets are all the same size. Many bushing kits are now plastic and the bushings are very large. These are really "old school" jacks. This is a simple, unobtrusive, easy to learn and fun skill game. Jacks perfectly develop hand-eye coordination and reflexes. I definitely recommend this version of this classic game.
