Works well, I liked these little meters. The stickers aren't great but they can be removed if you don't like them - they actually look better now that I removed the top one :-) The backlight has 3 brightness levels controlled by the power button on the back, You need to press 4 times to turn off when off. There is also a switch that needs to be set to the "RCA" position or the volume meters will move incorrectly or not at all depending on the audio signal. The case is entirely made of plastic and the plastic used looks very cheap but at the same time gives the product a handmade look. I connected it to the RCA output of a SMLS M500 DAC connected via XLR to a SMLS SP200 HP amplifier. So I don't know if it can affect the sound quality.
