This brace is still in great condition after 6 months of wear. The velcro is as good as the day I bought it, it doesn't fray anywhere. What's missing is extra padding on the back for extra support. I removed one from another brand we bought and installed over this one which made it almost perfect. For a woman, it fits perfectly under the bust without having to roll up and tuck the top front. I have a short waist and about 10 pounds overweight (all the fat in my gut) and the medium size fits me perfectly. You can adjust the fit as tight or loose as you like. Definitely worth your money!
