I specifically chose this kit because my case supports 2 x 140mm or 3 x 120mm fans and since my current 2 fans look terrible I wanted 3 instead x 120mm. Imagine my disappointment when those 120mm fans turned out to be 140mm fans. So I was forced to put 2 in front and 1 on top without getting the look I was hoping for. Coming from a Mac background, I'm fairly new to the concept of installing hardware. This is my first fan purchase if I have to install it myself. Quite green in that regard. I've never owned or seen fan controllers before, as advertised. nothing at all? Unlike the second image where the wings are also lit, only the ring is lit here so I was a bit disappointed as I wanted it to match the Prism fan I got with my CPU. Overall I'm not very happy with the purchase but at least it's here and I can finally finish my case and these fans are so quiet I had to check if they were really spinning!
