If you don't want to use just 1/2 inch single layer bias tape, you don't have to work around curves or corners and attach it to just one layer of fabric. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to choose this over the adjustable one but I did because it was made by my brother and that's the make of car I have. The included instructions are really sparse and you have to watch a YouTube video to really understand what to do with it. Even in the videos I watched, they said it was "uncomfortable" and could be annoying, and their examples of how to get around rough edges didn't look good. I practiced as recommended and then felt ready to tackle my project. I followed the instructions and tips in the video and moved VERY slowly, but there were still a few areas where the bottom piece didn't catch the stitches, so I had to go back to my stitch and the thread eventually fully unwound tangled because the feed dog stopped feeding fabric because the bias binding had folded into a very narrow cone, even though I had made sure the fabric and trim were always in the correct position. I doubt I'll use much, if ever. Gonna suck it up and get one of the adjustable ones.
