Review on Beemoon Bike Phone Mount Motorcycle Car & Vehicle Electronics by Iration Ahim

held the phone well during a violent collision

A month ago I had a particularly violent accident at over 50 km/h. Someone who saw it said I was like a rag doll flying through the air - I'm still healing. My rear wheel hit the concrete and stopped the bike and sent it like a rocket going in the opposite direction and it spun a good 10 feet in the air and stopped about 15 feet in the opposite direction of travel - it was hard. an accident that destroyed an almost indestructible radial force wheel so a very hard stop!. but the phone held. The stop was so quick it left a saddle mark that looked like I'd been kicked by a horse - we're talking serious G-forces. I also forgot my phone and left it on the bike and rode the bike home on the rack. I'm not recommending any of the tests I've run, but I highly recommend the Beemoon Bike Phone Mount. In any case, don't worry about this one failing accidentally. The only downside is that the spring rattles a bit on bumps, especially when empty, but for something this strong it seems negligible - if that annoys me enough I could probably throw in a piece of foam and dampen the rattle - did I didn't try because it's not that important. I'll add that too - if my phone was in my medium jersey pocket and not in this excellent phone mount, I would buy a new phone. It tightens easily but the video they show of someone tightening it was clearly made by someone who has no mechanical inclinations - it has a cam to tighten it like a quick release skewer - quite a nice design. Tighten it with a camera (not like the person in the video who just uses it as a built in key :-/) and your phone won't go where your bike won't go. I downgraded the easy install to 4 stars - that's only five stars but a video showing an incorrect install that doesn't get the job downgraded it to 4 for me - they should redo this video with someone with a bit more mechanical meaning.

Cons
