Moving the "chip" was easier than expected. I used tools (pliers, tweezers) from a new toner pack. Thought I would have to trim everything around the chip; Turns out you just need to cut off a small tab next to the chip. The problem I had was getting black toner to print. He pretended to be empty. There is no black. I did everything (removed the casing of the drum, pulled out a long strip from the side, removed the black paper from above, shook it), there is no black. Replaced (thanks Revain Prime), all is well!. The exchange works great! There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the toner warning on the M454dw printer. I guess I'll have to live with that.
