Hmm, not sure I can recommend this product. BENEFITS: Sleek design, looks great in a modern home. It has a zinc body, so it shouldn't and hasn't rusted. Ease of installation. AGAINST: Good. This is why I do not recommend this item: when not in use, it leans against the door, allowing the door to open and close. The problem is that it keeps falling. So if you try to close the door, the doorstop will fall and you will have to hold it while the door closes. It's so annoying. I bought the same for my parents and now they keep theirs taped. However, the problem seems to be sporadic. It will do this for a while and then magically start working again. But before you know it, it's back to falling. Spring.
