I was concerned that this paper might be too thin which I notice with many children's papers. Luckily I could even use this with finger paints. It's a good thickness and my son's marks don't bleed through. I wish Melissa and Doug's easel had an inverted paper spindle so that when in use it could be flipped the other way and I could then use the other side. Paper! I hate throwing it away when the other side is fully usable. I'm trying to rewind it myself right now. These two packs are great value and I will buy them again. I'm not sure when it's been like this in my house for quite some time!
