EXPENSIVE RUBBISH good for shoes

The shoes looked great but the first time I used them they literally started falling apart. In the photos I am wearing new shoes and you can see how the sole is torn. Faded dirty shoes are my old pair. Worn every day for 5 years on construction sites of all kinds. I don't think they do things the way they used to.
