After this hub was sealed for a month or more because I didn't have an iPad, I finally gave it a try. That does not work. Tried two different iPads. Maybe I got a defective one. I have another USB-C hub for my Mac and have tried it on the same iPads and it works great. The design itself is good, but it doesn't connect properly. It wobbles and can damage the USB port. It comes with two detachable handles that prevent the USB-C connector from being fully inserted unless removed. I don't have an iPad case yet, so this is a design or manufacturing defect. It's too late to return it now, but as I said, I just bought my iPad Pro and have therefore never tested it. I wish Apple had a choice.
