I've got a can of good old Honest Amish in my hand. Like many of you, I've been using it for a long time, and why not, it's good. But seriously, this stuff is way better. simultaneously. It also lasts longer in the hair than the Honest Amish. As for the smell, it's fresh. Clean. I assume citrus as advertised. Definitely better than HA, which smells more like musk wax. As for preference - I don't have a strong sense of smell at all, so it never bothers me. I've received many compliments on the scent. Of the different balms I've used, this one is my favorite. Extra points for the screw cap.
