My electrics and metal rockers weren't stars. Some of my wall panels had gaps just outside of the standard size wall panel. I was particularly annoyed by the toilet in the main bathroom. There was a 1/8 inch gap in the upper left corner. It annoyed me every time I entered the room. Well, I was finally fed up - after 4 years. I saw this little big plate. It wasn't the cheapest. Actually, $4 seems a bit steep, but I couldn't find a cheaper one anywhere else. So one evening I changed the fan control to a timer. Then I hit a new wall panel. The control took about 5 minutes and the wall panel took a minute. All you need is a small flat head screwdriver. Screw in the screws lightly and straight to avoid scratching the paint. The plate was flexible enough to allow for vertical screw alignment for people with OCD. Think the problem is solved. Now that I'm sitting on my throne and looking at the wall plate, I can say to myself: Yes, I fixed it. i am a king
