Oversized wallplates are used to conceal greater wall irregularities than those hidden by Midway wallplates. Oversized wallplates are a full 0.75" higher and wider than standard size wallplates. Smooth face and rounded edges resist dust accumulation. Designed for high dielectric strength and arc resistance. Resistant to fading, discoloration, grease, oil, organic solvents and moisture scratches.

This oversized wall panel did an excellent job of concealing the uneven exit

This oversized wall panel did a great job of concealing to hide the uneven cut rosette. It has a plain white appearance and comes with standard interchangeable screws. The switches also fit perfectly into the openings. I was concerned about the quality of the plastic based on some of the reviews, but couldn't find any flaws with the product. A small note on installation - I found screws are included and typical wall plates are short - if you press too hard on the plastic it can crack. I found…

Covering up a shitty drywall bug.

My electrics and metal rockers weren't stars. Some of my wall panels had gaps just outside of the standard size wall panel. I was particularly annoyed by the toilet in the main bathroom. I just inherited the stupidity of old homeowners. So one of the stupid moves (contractor or homeowner) was to cut too big a hole around some outlets/light switches, which also let me know I had some design issues as well.
