I bought this jacket for my Great Dane puppy. I appreciate the price as it grows out of things very quickly! It is as pictured and true to size. The stitching is well done and the velcro is good velcro (strong hold, no cheap bullshit). Overall excellent quality. However, the solid beige side is not fully waterproof. It is water repellent and will do in light rain. In moderate rain it can get wet after 30 minutes. It's not soaked in another layer on mine so it still works to keep my dog warm in the rain. However, if it rains very heavily, I think we won't be able to stay outside for long. I want the material to be really waterproof like gore-tex or plastic. But they can be prone to snagging and tripping over canine teeth and claws, so this is probably the best material.
