I always purchased 9 foot umbrellas in the past but I wanted to experiment this time around and try out an 11 foot.My main issue with umbrellas in the past would be that on windier days, depending on the stability and strength of the pole holding the umbrella up, it would easily bend. So this time around I definitely wanted to look into an umbrella that had a more robust pole so I wouldn't need to worry about bending. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the pole provided with this umbrella stand. It has already survived several days worth of wind and rain.On top of that, the quality of the material and the color of the umbrella itself are very nice. I wanted something that was bright and vibrant but also not too glaring too the eyes. In the past I had always tried to purchase Red umbrellas but wound up with a more "maroon" that I wasn't a huge fan of. I'm very happy with this umbrella because the color of the Red is very rich but not too overwhelming.Overall very happy with my purchase! Hope this helps other people who are in the market for umbrellas.
