Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I've been using it for half a year now. Great camera. Bought as a replacement Canon S5IS. I am very pleased with the quality. Nothing creaks. It sits perfectly in the hand. Even with my 18-105 lens. Most of all, very weak noises at high ISOs are pleasing. The swivel display is very easy to use. Fast burst shooting. There are a lot of photos you can take in a series. I didn't even try to "shoot" to the end. But 15-20 pieces can definitely.
In general, I advise. They want a lot of money for the D5200. And there will be more noise at 5200 due to the larger number of megapixels. While they are selling the D5100, I advise you to take it!

Pros

Picture quality! No noise. Speed. Ability to shoot Full-HD video. Matrix with D7000. Rotary display.

Cons

No screwdriver. The quality of the video, of course, loses to Canon-am (but in principle it is acceptable - after all, this is a SLR, not a video camera). Only one functional button.
