I bought two pairs of these. This is a really strong nylon webbing and the velcro is very grippy and not cheap/ flimsy. It takes a bit of work before placing it on the blanket to thread the webbing through the slider's metal adjuster (you think it's already done but it isn't), but it's not that difficult, just boring and silly that it is not ready yet. Once on the blanket, simply putting the blanket on and off requires just a little more work than the metal fasteners due to the rubber mount that attaches with Velcro, but it's not much. I used a pair to replace the elastic leg. Straps worn out on one of my blankets. They work well but they take too long. I wish they had sizing options so I could drop 2-3 inches in length. I'm constantly worried that the horse will leave its hoof hanging there when it gets up from the prone position and cause an accident as it's a strong webbing and unforgiving. stretchy nylon but so far so good The velcro may give and break but I'm not sure honestly I'll probably cut it off after this season and sew on a new velcro strip to allow me to trim it down a little more. I temporarily used another pair to replace the girth straps on another horse's rug until I patched the rug/reattached the 2" girth straps and they worked fine and now I have an extra set. All in all I would recommend good all round harnesses to carry around the stable.
