Ideal for opening on the underside of the bumper. That's the real thing, a very bright light that makes everything in front of you and on either side as bright as daylight. I'm not sure about the distance. Straight ahead, that'll be like daylight. Installation took my mechanic 15 minutes to install and get it working.
