After doing weekly injections at the base of my plantar ligament for five weeks and starting to wear orthotics again (which actually made my problem worse), I was desperate for relief. The pain was much worse than the left leg problem I had a year ago and the only remedy my podiatrist could offer after the vaccinations was a referral to an orthopedist! I've worn my "DorsiWedge" diligently while watching TV/surfing the internet and often (trying) to sleep in it, but it kept waking me up from pressure pains caused by my stretched leg. In desperation, I started looking online for other gadgets, stretchers, etc. that might give me the relief I so desperately needed and I found it! Darco Night Splint Body Armor (One Size) After wearing it for 3 nights (yes it's comfortable enough to get through the night in) my pain went down by about 60%. Now two weeks later I am PAIN FREE and didn't wear it at all last night and had no pain walking all day! The first night didn't really matter: I put it on too tight and didn't adjust it enough to push my big toe back far enough, and ended up taking it off in the middle of the night. After that everything went uphill. I highly recommend this device. Put it on when you go to bed and make sure your toe is as far back as you can stand (it makes a world of difference) and watch your only problem go away! My only regret is that I did all those co-pay shots, took vacations, and even walked the entire orthopedic route (a huge waste of money) without first finding the device. I hope this helps you.
