Snow Chains: Snow Chains

I live in southern New York where it snows heavily several times a year, but not always. So I need chains that I can put on easily and quickly when I need them in bad weather. These necklaces are very easy to put on and take off. Installation takes between 3 seconds and a minute, and removal takes about 10 seconds each. This tire chain set comes with gloves which is highly recommended as the tires are usually dirty and you will get your hands dirty if you don't use gloves. They also come with plastic treads to keep the metal from cutting into the tires. I will use them in such a way that I keep them in my trunk. When it snows heavily here, the streets are usually cleared fairly quickly. Driveways and parking lots are not always so fast. So if I ever get stuck in the snow I'll probably set up 1 or 2 drive wheels to get me out of the stick and onto a cleared road and then take them off right away. I hope this works really well to get me out of those situations. Maybe I'll put the rest in our other car so we can use both cars in the snow, you never know when you might get stuck. I always think of moving before winter and oasis pushes him away and when it snows its too late so this year i finally decided to buy before winter hopefully i need them at murphy's law this year Not. A small issue I have is that the ratchet is at the end of the handle. There is a small sharp point there that can stab you when installing or removing chains. I would suggest filing them away so you can install them in your car so you don't have to worry about them when you need them. I have attached an image of this problem. All in all they look like good quality chains and I hope they will work as they should when needed. I hope I was helpful to you and thanks for reading.
