The shape of this tool is perfect; My arm doesn't cramp when I'm stuck in bigger muscles, I feel like I'm holding it all the time and it covers a larger area. I love the combed edge which is great for working along the hairline, nape of the neck and scalp without ripping your hair out. It's a good weight too. A big plus is that it's made of stone and not plastic; I can heat it with massage stones if I want. A big plus for any massage therapist who practices Guasha; I highly recommend it. I don't know what the other reviewers think of "sharp edges", not sure if they understand the traditional use of the tool. All I know is that it "scratches" less than my previous two Gua Shas (plastic and metal) but still adheres well to the skin for fascial relaxation. I like it, will probably buy a few more in the future.
