Review on Plastic PETOUCH Install Durable Screen by Katie Peterson

I fitted this dog door to the outside door. The plastic it is made of is very thin and almost rubber-like in texture. Although this product is advertised for both screen doors and regular doors, I noticed that there is no detail between the two doors that are on either side of the outer door. This means that when the dog door is open, you can see the inside of the door where this dog door is installed. The door is metal with fairly sharp edges which could now cut my dogs if they aren't careful. I think it would be better to include a plastic insert if the dog door is going to be installed in something other than a screen door. I'm sure they will do their job but I'm not sure how they will hold up in the long run.
