Dog Door for Doors

Add to the privacy screen patio door. Adding a support brace works great. It remains only to teach the dog to use it. It did not last long

Superb quality - for dogs

This is a simple but reliable dog flap. It's better made than the flimsy plastic. This door is great for my huskies and two cocker spaniels. Also, I love that it has a magnet that keeps the door closed properly after being used by dogs. This will help prevent flying insects from entering. Yes, it's more expensive than other doors, but if you have active dogs that go in and out on their own, then this is the door. For the record, I replaced a flimsy door that eventually broke due to repeated use

Funky Decor

We live in Michigan where the winters are a bit chilly and our dog walks through a three-season porch into the backyard. It is not necessary to enter a room with a temperature of 5 degrees every morning to let the dog out. The proportions of the storm door leading outside couldn't accommodate this unit (we needed a large one for our nearly 80 pound golden retriever). Very bad design. Not stable when connected to the screen door, damage the screen when using.

Screws designed for plastic are ALWAYS doomed to fail. That's how it is here. I had to replace a few because the screws ripped off the plastic fasteners during use. It is also advertised that the device can be mounted on a lattice door. However, the mounting screws are located about 1/4" from the outside edge of the frame and are designed to pierce the screen material right next to where it is cut out for the valve (jack entry). It's fine just had a little problem

I fitted this dog door to the outside door. The plastic it is made of is very thin and almost rubber-like in texture. Although this product is advertised for both screen doors and regular doors, I noticed that there is no detail between the two doors that are on either side of the outer door. This means that when the dog door is open, you can see the inside of the door where this dog door is installed. The door is metal with fairly sharp edges which could now cut my dogs if they aren't careful.
