Comfortable but could be better

I bought this chair because the cushions are nice and thick. In my old chair the cushion sagged and the mesh supporting my back sagged causing my back to bump against the plastic behind the mesh. I also really liked the adjustment options of this chair. For reference; I am a 5'9 male, 165 lbs. I saw someone mention that the seat cushion is too hard - I think it's a good combination of stiffness and softness. Lots of ways to adjust the chair, I think everyone will appreciate it; You can set it up in almost any configuration you want. There are a couple of things that I feel aren't enough: The armrests don't go up high enough. The highest value you can set will probably be optimal for most people. Any customization below would not fit many scenarios. Another problem that comes with many chairs (but you'd expect more from a $300 chair) is the piston that adjusts the height of the seat. I am a very typical height for a man of 5ft 9 inches and the biggest that can be is right where I need it. I actually wish it was a little higher when elevating my legs but I'll live with the arm resting fully inward on my body, my arm position is a bit too wide for me but again I'll survive. The overall construction is very solid and sturdy materials are used, which I appreciate. You can tell that this chair should stand the test of time. Overall I'm glad I have this chair and I think most of the others are too.

Pros
  • Seat height adjustment
Cons
  • Annoying
