It worked the 2 times I needed it, but with a major flaw. You get one chance to get your car to kick over and that's all you get until you charge the unit again. It went from 100% charge to 1% charge jumping a battery that was depleted to 9v - not completely dead by any means. Yes, it provided the power to start a 3L 6cyl SUV engine, but then it was depleted to 1% and needing to recharge. What good is that, if you don't get your car to start right away? It's not good AND when the listing reads "up to 40 starts on a single charge". I mean c'mon. Yeah, it's not a lie that 1 start is within the range of "up to 40 starts".but it's about 39 starts away from the truth. The seller offers an incentive of a free gift if you post a positive review, I have to assume that has something to do with some of the favorable reviews I read, as you don't know what it lacks until you actually need to use it. I am not impressed, I think there are better options available than this particular brand of jump starter.
