I loved these lamps! I live in an old house built by a hurricane that must not have believed in having outlets every 6-8 feet. I have two of these in the bedroom: one under the window and the other next to the door that leads onto the patio - on the opposite side near the corner. So stupid. Therefore, it is not possible to place the bed in a place where lamps and phone chargers can be plugged in. You must use an extension cord laid on the floor. However. They were perfect because they have USB ports right on the base of the lamp to charge our phones. Here's the bad news. At first light #1 didn't come on, but the charger worked. OK, we can trade. Lamp #2 was perfect. Two days later, my child turns on lamp #1 and it lights up. Hooray! Both seemed to work great for about a week. Then lamp #1 went out again. The light flickered for a second, then faded. Eh, we hardly used it and the charger was still good. Then lamp #2 started in the same way. Now they both hit or miss when powered on. We've tried everything and they still don't work. After about 3 weeks I found that my phone wasn't charging properly. My regular charger is fast, and this one charged all night and still only charged 25%. These lamps are crap. Now these are decorations on the bedside table, which may or may not be included. Don't waste money on them. Rather pay a little more and get a better lamp.
