I'm using this for an outdoor upholstery project and the tape works well for positioning pieces without pins. It holds the canvas well when I'm machine sewing I try to position the tape so that I don't have to sew through it by placing it in the seam allowances but away from the sewing line and tape them again (using the same piece of tape.) Really handy for inserting the zippers, to avoid wrinkling caused by being stuck.Tear off the tape from the roll (not cut) to make it easier to separate the paper cover from the tape.Tape, tear it from the roll after the tape sticks to the fabric, then I press that Tape (with paper) firmly to the fabric, on the torn end of the tape I scratch it lightly with the edge of the nail and the paper cover rises out of the end of the tape, and I can easily remove the scraps of paper from the l ducks.
